The Dean of the Uganda Christian University (UCU) School of Education, Dr. Mary Kagoire (Centre), has been a Trainer of Trainers Certificate in Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) issued by Accelerated Education Enterprises (AEE). The certificate was handed to her by Graham Yoko, Chief Executive Officer of AEE, while attending the Educational Leadership Summit in Drakensberg, South Africa.
The developments follow a partnership between UCU and AEE to train teachers and implement the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum, which is a self-paced, individualized, and biblically based educational model for K-12 students. UCU is the first university globally to host a Trainer of Trainers’ Programme for the ACE curriculum and is developing a unique postgraduate program for ACE educators.
At the same Summit, UCU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi, addressed over 400 Christian leaders and educators from across the world; the summit brings together Christian leaders and educators worldwide.
