Programme Description Details

This is a one-year program designed to develop skills, values and attitudes for effective teaching and management of secondary schools.  To develop teachers’ competences, ODeL learner-centred approaches are employed in the teaching and learning process. The programme comprises 12 in educational foundations course and special teaching methods.

Admission Requirements

  1.  For admission to the programme of PGDE, a candidate must be in possession of a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree from a university recognized by NCHE. He/she must have done two subjects that are taught in secondary schools in the previous training.
